COURSE OVERVIEW
Dancing
Dance styles that are covered by various choreographers: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Tap, Fosse, Krump and the list goes on.

There will also be classes on how to choreograph, how to teach a dance class, stretching & flexibility, musicality training, partner work training, dance tricks training, body conditioning and more.
ACTING
Pure acting classes, script analysis, accents & dialects, pronunciation and speeches, comedy acting, dramatic acting, musical theatre acting, pantomime acting, acting for stage, acting for film, the art of timing within acting, history of dramatic practitioners, auditioning for acting, self tape acting auditions.
Content creation
Content creation and selling yourself as an online presence go hand-in-hand. In this class we dive into the importance of producing content and how to build yourself and your brand image off of that content.
Business of the arts
Business of the arts, financial planning, personal development, traditional sales, sales (how to sell today), branding and marketing, contract assessment, becoming an independent contractor, money and taxation, networking, social media studies, becoming a brand, creating a side business. Basically learning how to sell yourself in the field you want to pursue.
MUSIC & VIDEO EDITING
Learning the importance of being able to edit your own music and videos to ensure you produce the absolute best content. Projects like edits, short films and show reels are a few examples of the final products we create in these classes.
CHOREOGRAPHY
Learn how to choreograph and create your own & unique choreography style. Choreography classes just teach you the art of creating choreography for solo, duo's, trio's, groups and large formations and of course workshop choreography. This is where you learn how to choreograph and how to make your choreography unique and most importantly how to make your choreography seen.
HOW TO ENROL
The entire course is one academic year - September to June. Keeping the course to a one year period allows us to focus on the work in an intense manner. This means that there is very little time for each student to lose sight of their personal goals and vision. A hard working mentality will be the driving force that will get each student to complete the year successfully. The level of work mimics the industry you are interested in pursuing and we hold ourselves to an extremely high standard of excellence in everything that we do at HSA. The level of hard work required will ensure that you become a hard worker by nature. We hold a strong standard of excellence in everything that we do at HSA. Each student is consistently pushed to deliver quality assignments and quality performances on a regular basis throughout a year. This will undoubtedly create the kind of mentality and work ethic that will foster excellence in each student and force them to create their own unique brand.
